This old palace was relocated from his original site to his new location rock by rock and re-build the same way. Everything inside the common area since to be original and makes the hotel charming. The personnel is very nice and careful. The room is large even though double bed are made of 2 mattress (big minus for me) and quite hard. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere in the rooms. The price is fair compared to its competitors nearby but high compared to the region. Far from Bilbao city, close to the airport.

Fifth time we have stayed at the Palacio De Urgoiti which in itself speaks volumes. Clean, courteous, ever so helpful every time. The meals are always excellent. Looking forward to returning for one more night on our homeward leg in 2 weeks time. The hotel is ideally placed for quick transfer to and from the airport at Bilbao.

This is our second visit here. It is a great stopping off point coming or going to the ferry. The directions are easy to follow.

The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms of good quality. The bedrooms are so quiet you are guaranteed a good nights sleep.

We had the set meal for two last night which included a bottle of delicious wine that accompanied the monkfish beautifully. The buffet breakfast was beautifully presented with plenty of choice. The coffee, strong and delicious.

The staff here are approachable and helpful. We will return.

This hotel didn't have the charm we had expected. The facade of the "palace" that you see in the pictures is just a small piece of a larger "Best Western"-style hotel. However, everything is clean and well maintained.

It's a nice hotel outside Bilbao. Offer a nice rural environment for relaxing with heated pool and golf.

A renovated building and golf course. I stop off there occasionally for a coffee or a snack. It's always a pleasant place to visit and the staff are unfailingly polite and helpful.
