Clean and efficient provincial airport. Although choice once airside in terms of good duty free etc is very dated

Great quick to go through. Book taxi in advance. Don't order hamburger from resturant once you ckeck in as it is not beef but spam.

Great little airport. Helpful staff. Easy to use and understand. Low prices in the cafes. On-site car hire companies are easy to use. All of my family, who regularly travel to and from the Last Zenia area of the Costa much prefer to use Murcia rather than the bustle of Alicante.

A great little airport. No rushing and pushing here. Just wish all airports were like this one.

What a lovely wee Airport. Although it is just like a greenhouse when you get through the customs.
9 times out of 10 the air conditioning doesn't work here. Only rest bite you get is when they open the doors to let the passengers board the aircraft.
It is small and expensive for food on the outside & inside. The only saving grace is the Subway food counter that is through customs.
Your best bet is to wait till the last min outside at the cafe. Prices here are approximately 15 to 20% more expensive than the surrounding area.

It's tragic to hear that this great little airport is to close. The staff are very helpful and do the best they can, as this airport can get very busy at times, (take a hint Spanish Government a busy airport!). To lose this wonderful landing spot will steer holidaymakers away from beautiful San Javier, Santiago de la Ribera and San Pedro etc.
