The food, the place, the service all five stars
The hotel could do with being updated the meals Were shockingly bad. The hotel is generally clean and tidy the staff could be a little bit more friendlly But apart from that the hotel is in a great location .
I agree with all other reviewers. Not 4 stars, dated decor, friendly staff, terrible breakfast. Had to clear a table and go in search of crockery. Cold food. Be aware that from end October through to April the hotel is completely booked up by pensioners as the government subsidises winter holidays.for them. Only one of the 4 bars opens. The bar etc closed at midnight. The same music played in the pool area every day and drove us mad. We couldn't bear to sit on our balcony any longer. Thankfully lovely beach a few steps away. Virtually nothing to do in the evenings in La Manga at this time of year. Everything shut - it's a ghost town.
Excellent location right on the Mar Menor beach. Good pool facilities. Activities in the evenings and during the day. Some rooms a bit dated but told they are gradually modernising them all.
Could be a great hotel if updated. Definitely not a 4* hotel but could be if money spent on it. Mainly caters for Spanish. Quality of food could be much better. Chips for lunch & dinner every day. On the plus side fantastic position on the beach with fabulous views over Mar Menor. Plenty of free parking with bars & restaurants on the doorstep.
Gran hotel con varias actividades al cabo del día para el disfrute de adultos y menores
