Spectacular meal. Slow roasted tender juicy lamb, assorted with other specialities from the region or Spain like morcilla (black pudding) and croquetas.
As you can see from the check, it’s not expensive compared to other restaurants in its cathegory: we were a party of six, shared two plates of 1/4 lamb plus entrées, two bottles of wine and desserts, and got off for 200€.
Scenery is also fantastic, being it an old watermill.
I highly highly recommend it.

El mejor lechazo que he probado. El trato espectacular. El sitio es alucinante. El café de puchero muy muy bueno. La carta de vinos es tremenda. De precio no está nada mal. Un sitio muy recomendable.

Lugar fantástico, muy agradable, tranquilo y de fácil acceso. La comida exquisita con una atención y un servicio fantástico. Un personal muy atento y con un alto conocimiento respecto a las alergias. Repetiremos seguro. Totalmente recomendable.

This place is an example of why the Michelin's Guide is misleading in many places of Spain. The only good stuff of this restaurant is that it is situated on an old mill.

My negative comments are LARGE. First I do not even know why this place is recommended. The service is rude. The decor is ugly, rusty, dirty and very old-fashioned. In their webpage they do not inform you of pre-ordering some hours before going the typical dish of this region (sheep's lechazo), you only know this when you are at the site. The glassware and silverware is very used, probably they have not changed it since the day they opened. The site does not seem to be clean and tidy. Their menu is poor. The quality and freshness of the food is questionable. The wine list is OK but it is bad to drink a good wine in low quality glasses. The site is noisy. I regret coming to this restaurant and how I was biased by Michelin's Guide and reviews of Google.

If you are in Peñafiel and you want to have an excellent meal go to Alejandro Fernandez Restaurant, that perhaps the best restaurant around here. Please avoid committing my own mistake by trying this place based on the apparent good comments published on several sites. I guess it's important that someone advises you that this is a not-worth-to-try place.
