Great ambiance, had a good dinner with friends, but actually relation between price and quality is not very good, as it's more expensive for the place
A 10 min walk from the prado bus station and right in front of the plaza de EspaƱa. The location is near perfect and the rooms are of great quality!
Good hotel near Plaza EspaƱa. Nice rooms and service
This is a nice hotel which ie located centrally in Seville. I believe it's just been renovated, it's nice and comfortable. The breakfast is simply awesome and staff are friendly.
We chose this hotel primarily for its nice location in the city. That was a good choice. The room was very spacious. Loved the bathroom; very modern with both bath tub and shower room with an opening to the closets! The king size bed was very comfortable. Finally, there was no wifi problem!! Absolutely lovely.
The outside may be ugly, but the rooms are clean and beautiful. I had a room on the third floor with a good mattress, a beautiful bathroom and an okay outside view. The breakfast buffet is quite diverse and has an okay quality. A negative point is that the swimming pool is only opened from 12-20h.
Great location, easy walking to the major sites and attractions, pleasant staff, rooms nice, spacious and clean.
Great hotel! It is wonderfully situated next to the beautiful Plaza de EspaƱa! And is about a 20 minute walk to the city center. The hotel entrance is great as well especially since it was greeted with desserts, water and wine. Check-in was smooth and there were four different elevators right across the check-in so you are able to get to your room as soon as possible. The rooms themselves were well kept. There were a few scuffs in the room but nothing to complain too much about. They are all updated and we're very clean upon arrival. The beds are nice and firm which is what I like personally. Walls are a bit thin though as I can hear the other person's TV when it was on. Overall it was one of the better hotels I've stayed in and I would stay here again!
Clean rooms, luxurious bathrooms, and nice breakfast spread. Minus stars for the safe not working in our room, and very thin walls. I could hear an entire conversation right outside my room and could hear the TV from the next room.
The Melia Sevilla is part of a chain of hotels in Spain. The hotel and rooms are very beautiful. The restaurant in the hotel is terrible -- both for quality of food and service. We were with a group and consensus from all of us was a feeling of being rushed. Staff were rude and unfriendly. The hotel was having phone system issues while we were there (Dec 2016) and the phone kept ringing in all guest rooms from 4AM-6:30AM which was very disturbing. When we shared this with the front staff, there was a shrug, weak apology and nothing done about it. We finally unplugged the phone on both the bedside table and in the washroom. Overall a poor experience.
