Brilliant stay with Riviera, rooms lovely, modern and kept pristine. Restaurant and food amazing. Plenty of choice for the faddiest of eaters. Staff very attentive and helpful. Entertainment both day and night was second to none. Definately a must to return !! 😂

A beautiful hotel extremely clean and tastefully furnished. The food is excellent and the staff in all departments are very courteous and helpful. However the lift from the hotel to the promenade has been broken for the last two weeks and all attempts to repair it have failed. This lift has apparently been unreliable all season. This being so it makes the promenade unreachable for elderly and disabled guests as there are so many steps.

I hate people that post negative reviews about hotels just because they are the types that will moan about everything.
A real negative for me of this hotel is the only pool is FREEZING ( and I mean freezing)I love to swim, that’s why I come on holiday to a hot country,so I can spend the week relaxing and swimming. Well if you like swimming DON’T come to this hotel the pool is that cold it feels like your heart stopped.
Thomson’s reply was it is stated in the A-Z of their holidays that all pools unless stated otherwise are unheated.
The hotel management wasn’t really any better , just tried to fob us off with a spa voucher.

Don’t come if you have trouble walking as steps everywhere and the lift to the beach has been out of older almost everyday.

Everything else is fine, food, rooms etc.

But I won’t be returning, what’s the point when the pool is freezing, unless of course you don’t swim or mind steps then this hotel is for you.

Welcomed to hotel late at night with a personal buffet, fresh fruit and complimentary wine. The room is clean large and airy but overlooks a car park and suffers from road noise during the day. Food is fresh and tasty with lots of choice. Staff are frienday and helpful. Corridors look dated but main areas are refurbished and modern. Location is ideal.

Lovely room, food and facilities - we enjoyed a nice winter break with tremendous weather - average temperatures in the 20's every day in February!

Lovely views of the harbour from the Lounge. I have not been elsewhere here. The service in the Lounge can be poor. The entertainment is a good quality and variety usually 2 turns per evening.

Fantastic food, modern room and shower, great location right on beach front, very fair price, large British presence.

Variety of food. Very clean. Nice rooms. Good amenities. Grocery stores very close. Secure pool area with several levels of outdoor relaxation areas. Catering for the Brits. Welcome Meeting - 30 minutes. Lifts are small but ALL LEVELS are accessible. January: I am in a party of 4, all mid to late 40s, we are the youngsters in the hotel. Evening entertainment is poor to not bad at all. Too much Tom bloody Jones though! Other than show times no music to spoil the ambience.
Disabled accessibility seems very good. Location is excellent for prom, shopping, park and a bit of a walk to the town centre (up a hill but it's ok).
