Brilliant conversion from a courtyard to a covered bar, very comfortable great food and super room. Not easy to find by car with no satnav as lots of one way roads in the walled town.

Beautiful building, spacious rooms, big bathrooms, but hard to get comfortable here. This place gets all the big details perfect. Amazing views of the cathedral and enormous rooms, then drops the ball on small details. For example, there's no electrical outlets by the night tables. Then, all the outlets turn off when you shut off the lights, except for one. That means there's only one outlet in the room for charging our electronics overnight. Minor discomforts like that plague this hotel. It sounds nitpicky, but it becomes a genuine nuisance after a few days. The hotel buffet breakfast is lovely, and was a big hit with my family. The hotel is perfect walking distance from everything you want to see in town. We had a very pleasant stay.

This particular hotel is just beautiful structurally and the service is great. Rooms are tiny but cozy and very clean. One thing to note is that the pillows are a bit on the small side and not very fluffy and the beds are somewhat hard (but that may not be a problem if you don't like soft mattresses).

In general, the hotel is very good, with very pleasant reception staff, and is location, next to the cathedral, is magnificent. The waiters, though, could be better as they have a tendency to be a bit rough and bump into you when serving meals.

As name states, it used to be a palace. Antique-ish furniture. Comfortable rooms, beautiful interior restaurant/garden.

We were absolutely amazed by this beautiful hotel. The center patio had a skylight that offered a view of the Ávila Cathedral. Our room was very spacious and had a view of the Cathedral as well, balcony included. Great service and at a fantastic location (less than a 5 minute walk to the main entrance to the Ávila wall)
