A unique design, really great rooms, but maintenance can be improved. Our bathroom smelled of sewerage and the prompt repair guy did improve the situation but could not completely fix it. The wooden boards on the terrace shouldn't be walked without shoes unless you like having a splinter in your feet.

But the layout of the place and the terrace rooms is great, the winery tour interesting, the reception mostly very helpful and the restaurants worth a visit. The standard breakfast is a bit uninspired, but the staff was very eager to cater to individual requests. The porters were also very kind and helpful.

The place has two Tesla Destination chargers which are used on a regular basis by visitors with electric cars or hybrids. So make sure you reserve a space the night before your departure.

We we not able to get on a tour ( as there was none in English) however we were told we could come for just general
Tasting at the ‘wine bar’.
We turned up and it was like walking in to a school canteen. The interior was ugly, the wine was dispensed from taps. The tapas snacks looked disgusting and looked like they had been sitting about for a while under cling film .
Terrible atmosphere no view.
So disappointed as this is one of my favourite wines.
I guess you need to go on a tour to get the best bits……
Go to Campo Viejo you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome! Can't wait to come back again! Got this resort for a great rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and I'm really happy I stayed here cheaper than what I typically pay.

Phenomenal luxury hotel that I definitely recommend. The service is top-notch, the views are amazing and the mood is tranquil. Very special and unique hotel!

We came to Marqués de Riscal for 2 nights on our honeymoon. We were very happy with our decision to stay here. They service is impeccable, the staff are all genuine and they made us feel welcome. We would not hesitate to recommned it to frienda or family. A true 5 star experience!!

The hotel looks outstanding. The exterior and interior design are truly a sight to behold. The icing on top is its majestic location sited on top of the marques de fiscal vineyard. I truly recommend taking the wine tour, excellent and informative tour of the winery. However, the wine here I found to be not the best in the Rioja region. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the duvets I am not accustomed to (for example they used a double sized duvet for my single bed). The third floor of the hotel consists of a Bibliotheca lounge - a beautiful Spanish library with a roof terrace overlooking the alavasa region. Onto the food here. The lunch and light menu was superb - a true testament to taste and texture. Overall the hotel is worth its price and definitely worth a visit.

This review is for the gastronomic restaurant. The experience is what you would expect from a Michelin stared restaurant. We had the 21 course menu. The food is tasty, with some of the dishes better than others. Presentation is nice and clean. The ambience is pleasant and service is good. We chose to have their local wines, which are of good quality. In summary, a good experience, adequate to what they propose.

This hotel is part of an American chain of luxury hotels, therefore many American and Asian guests. Modern rooms and beautiful architecture in the midst of the Rioja vineyards. Splendid cuisine and great wines.

We had a beautiful room and wonderful stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful in setting up a tour for the winery and also in choosing other wineries to visit. We ate at the 1860 restaurant which was a delicious prefix meal.
