Not particularly helpful or considerate staff Hotel room smelt of cigarettes and sewage so asked to be moved but told hotel was full that night..it was not as I could still book another room. Next day was told we were too late to move even though check in that day was not still not open? We were told we we should have moved early morning but where to as they were allegedly still full from the night before?

This place is very respe tful of guests and are very helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. Food is very nice although the waiter takez his job most seriousky and tends to want you sitting where he wants you to be rather than having choice

Water pressure and ac are substandard at any level. Staff don't like your attempts at Spanish. Just seemed rude so I was compelled to book other excursions instead of being able to use the front desk resources. If you are a golfer, apparently you are a better customer.

This hotel has had a makeover. We visited when they had the launch party and it was fabulous. Best night of the holiday Lovely staff and food great. Very clean and the location is perfect..

I planned a road trip of Andalusia and thought of staying for couple of nights in Benalmadena. I chose this hotel even though other "4 Star" hotels were available cheaper than the price offered, I chose as it said "Sea View". I had to pay extra €10 a night for car parking on top of the room price. I must admit it was spectalucar sea view, but, probably that was the only thing that the higher price offered.
Equipment:
Two out of five.
Mini refrigerator provided that works at snail's speed. No kettle, only soap/shampoo provided in bathroom, nothing extra provided that is usually provided by 4 Star hotels (disposable tooth-brush/combs/shaving kits etc.).
Cleaning:
Three out of five.
We found the room in reasonable condition however next day when we returned back from a day out it was something I expected a bit higher standards when it says "4 Stars".
Wi-Fi :
Four out of five.
Provided in each room, depending how far from the hot-spot it may be slow or reasonable. At no point I found it quicker than 4G I used. Wifi is not a big deal for me, as now a days most providers (in UK) are providing free European roamings. Also, roaming will be free (using local package rate) in Europe.
Food: (Breakfast only)
One out of five.
Hot meals: boiled/scrambled eggs, mini sausages, hot tomatoes (not roasted), something like hash browns. Some (not ripe enough) fresh fruit, and usually couple of choices of cheeses & couple of choices of cereals and bread. Stale bakery (Croassiant etc.) products. Coffee machines were broken.
A/C was not available, only fan worked, when tried to turn on the A/C (May 2017). I am giving it overall rating of 2 out of 5 only because of a very nice sea view, otherwise room was pretty small and I was pretty disappointed for what it offered. I'd say it was a "2 Star" hotel, no idea who categorised it as "4 Star".response / report this review -

No air con till June, but had a suite. Well worth it. Great marina and see views. Room was large separate lounge/bedroom both with large wall mounted TV. Bathroom twin sinks. Had to pay for the safe 3euro a day. But free WiFi in room and throughout hotel.

Excellent hotel close to marina and beach fabulous buffet meals great prom for walks with shops bars and cafe's a plenty
