  Not often do you wake up in a hotel without electricity or hot water! In Hotel Gran Via you definately can! Our surprise was quickly brushed off with indifference and explanation that it was not a problem of the hotel (presumably they are right, the problem was ours as it was us who couldn't find anything in the room or have a shower 😂), and it was a scheduled electricity maintenance - so well known that they forgot to inform us when we were booking the room.

  Smart, very clean, friendly staff. Great location. Excellent spread this morning for breakfast. Shower the only let down.

  It is a really nice hotel, with big rooms. The breakfast is also quite good. I only missed better views from my room as I could only see a wall and an inner place
