Played golf here on Monday 13th Nov., after the golf, my friend and I went into the bar for a couple of pints, apart from the price being expensive, the barman tried to cheat me out of 11 euros.. Never Again!
Only been there for presentations and events. Slight feeling of faded glory but all very clean and grounds immaculate. Had tapas and wine tonight in the gloomy blues bar, very good. Noticed at least three waiting staff from a year ago which is a good indicator.
Good size room, modern tv, friendly and helpfull staff, relaxing pool area, not bad breakfast (first time 5 star hotel so i cant compare). Negatives: a bit outdated look, every weekend there are business meetings or organized parties (can be loud and busy). During the week is nice and quiet
Great hotel with super food. A very relaxing place to stay. Quick and attentive service too. Highly recommended.
Visited for a weekend of golf with a good friend. Wonderful hotel and fantastic golf course. Had a twin room, with 2 good sized queen beds. Room had very effective air conditioning and was a pleasant temperature for sleeping, which was good as it was hotter than normal. The restaurant served very nice food. We had the set tapas menu which was very tasty. Breakfast were had a varied mix and omelettes were made to order. The golf course was well maintained and provided a good mixture of holes to challenge and entertain. Would recommend taking a buggy. Being from Scotland part of the excercise is carrying the clubs, but in 30 °C temperature this becomes more of an endurance. Took the buggy on the second day and saw a vast improvement on the back 9. The pool was a welcome respite after each round of golf. Allowing us to cool down and let our weary muscles to relax. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. Great for families, couples and those looking to get away for some golf in the sun.
Very nice this place is not just a golf course and hotel but a place to come and unwind and enjoy the fantastic panoramic views, its a must visit for the day
Again, it is almost not possible to write a bad review about the JWM, even when the JWM is located in Denia. Best rooms (try the one-bedroom suite if avail), no need to go out for food as the Brasserie Montgó will suffice (the Thai place too but have been living in Bangkok too long) and service to perfection. In a nutshell, that is the definition of the JWM in general. Have been in staying in the JWM all over the world (and not biased by the platinum card, really not) but no matter where you stay, you can be sure your stay is worthwhile. Still wondering who is the owner of the nice Rolls thats always there
Very nice hotel with lots of great staff to help no matter day or night, its a bit out of the way but with all there is here you don't even notice with stunning surroundings and a fantastic golf course its a must of your passing through or looking for a break away from the city lights.
Great cost/quality ratio.
Stayed two nights and was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious.
Receptionist are very friendly
I would have liked that the curtain to the outside could close all the way. Otherwise fantastic welcome with a drink , free parking, reasonable prices, located near to Denia and Javea if you have a car. I would definitely stay here again. Nice spa and golf if you want too.
