Quarto agradável e muito limpo. Hotel reconstruído, simples mas bonito, bem decorado. Tem sala de estar e um bom pequeno— almoço. Funcionários muito simpáticos

The amount of stars that a hotel has, is often taken as the final verdict of whether it's any good or not. In the case of this place, that kind of rating would tell you very little. I can tell you, from having spent more than merely a couple of days at Hotel Ayamontino, that for the amount of money you spend you'll be surprised of how much it actually buys you. I definitely was! This is a family owned establishment and notably so. It gives the place a certain kind of quality that a large luxury hotel doesn't have.
The rooms are spacious, all have air conditioning, TV and are cleaned daily. In addition to that, the hotel offers free WiFi.
The hotel's location is ideal in that it's very close to the beach (some 400 m), yet not far away from the center of Punta Umbría, with all its stores, small shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Within less than a 5 minutes walk, you'll be were you like to be, whether it's the beach, the closest food store, gift shop, pharmacy, sports shop or whatever else you might need during your stay.
If you come here by bus, the station is visible from the hotel (200 m) and if you arrive by car (or motorcycle), there's free and safe parking very close to the entrance. Just remember, though, to get a dated ticket from the reception and to place it so that it's clearly visible. Also, make sure that you've parked the vehicle in the correct space. If you're unsure, ask the personell at the desk to have a look.
Hotel Ayamontino has an excellent restaurant. The breakfast is quite sufficient, not bad in any way, served early and acceptable to most guests. At that time of the day, what I like most is the tranquility of the place. The other meals of the day, however, deserve a more detailed presentation! The restaurant serves typical Spanish food, perfectly prepared! You want to know the variety of Andalusian cuisine? Then this is the place! Every day, you have the choice of ordering "a la carte" or from "el menú del día". Out of the two, I'd strongly recommend the latter. Make sure to ask at what hours meals are served.
For information of what to see and do, ask at the reception, any time. There are maps and brochures in different languages. Also, you'll find that the people who work here really are locals. They know the region, and then some!
Does all this sound too expensive for you? Unless you're looking for a youth hostel, it really isn't. Precious? You bet! Find out for yourself.

hotel nice and clean staff helpful and friendly but the food was terrible if you don't like fish which I don't then you have 1 other meat choice take it or leave with the main course you get chips and nothing else no vegetables the meals let this hotel down

Hotel perfecto para turismo familiar. Ambiente agradable (pocos niños y muy educados).
Limpieza y atención personal perfectas. La comida es algo cara y escasa pero bien cocinada y mejor servida. En las habitaciones se echa de menos una ducha con presión y caudal de agua correctos.response / report this review -

Hotel en su justa medida. Todo limpio y cuidado. Pero las habitaciones algo pequeñas y oscuras. Está a unos 10 minutos de la playa y a 10 del centro del pueblo.

Hotel correcto, limpio, ordenado, instalaciones sencillas pero en muy buen estado. Buena atencion por parte del personal. Desayuno normal. Situación muy buena al estar en el centro de la ciudad. Hotel de 2 estrellas mas cerca de las 3 que otros en los que he estado. Muy aconsejable para estancias cortas. Repetiría

No es un hotel de lujo. Por lo que pagas, sin embargo, vas a tener más de lo que esperabas. Por eso y por su atmósfera de amabilidad y la calidad de la comida, en particular la del menú del día, doy cinco estrellas. Para viajeros en autobús, ¡situación perfecta! 300 metros a la playa.
