Stayed a week at these apartments which I believe now go by the name of 'manilva sun'. The apartment itself was pleasant enough, very spacious and clean and the staff were polite and friendly. Kitchen was missing a few basic utensils but did have both a dishwasher and a washing machine. In terms of the facilities - we did not use the restaurant. The swimming pool was as it appears in the photos, however, we were unable to find the mini golf and playground listed and the gym and spa were both closed. Location was perhaps the biggest disappointment for me. It was a long walk to the beach and back up a relatively steep road. If you don't have children or many bags it is fine but if you do you will likely find yourself driving. Some websites we read before booking made out that costal manilva had a quiet 'villagey' feel. We considered it to be quite built up, not particularly attractive and it had the usual 'brits abroad' feel down by the harbour. We were lucky one night to catch flamenco dancers but other nights there didn't appear to be much going on. The beach was not sandy as we had read elsewhere but gritty and not overly pleasant to walk on. We found some nice beaches for children near Estepona (notably playa el cristo) and would likely look there for accomodation if we were to return to the area. On the plus side if you have a car it is a very easy drive and the parking facilities at the hotel were excellent.

Mattresses are horrible and you have to pay for Wi-Fi in the room. The area around this place looks abandoned. On the plus side has a decent restaurant and Bar with reasonable prices. And a decent pool.

Very friendly & helpful staff, nice and fully equipped appartments (there are different categories - we insisted in changing rooms, air condition needed, temperatures rise to 40°C in summer).

Car needed! Shops, market, not too far away. Pool is ok, but sometimes crowded. No problem at all. VERY VERY NICE STAY. Family with 2 kids (16 & 11)
