This is not a 'posh' hotel, but it's delightfully Spanish and the food is good, the staff are friendly and the bougainvillea is beautiful.

Great spot for lunch after visiting the Caves. Kids had plenty of space to run amok in and the staff were great. Cheap too!

The hotel has many things that are broken, the internet access doesn't work in most areas of the hotel, the air conditioning in my room leaked due to it being improperly installed. The buffet breakfast was always covered with flies and really off putting. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean.

We stayed in Maro for one night and two full days. Arrived around 11 in the morning and were able to check in and rest before walking around the little town of Maro for a bite to eat. The town is a really cool hidden secret. Two little beaches, both about 20-30 minute walks from the hotel. The walk into Nerja is a bit longer, about 40 minutes. But you can also easily grab a bus from the caves which are right up the hill or get a cab back from Nerja.

The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are very spacious. It has one of the best prices around especially if you are going to be going into the caves. They have a deal that gives you passes (about 9 euro each) to the caves and museum. Our receptionist was lovely. She set breakfast back up for us since we came down a little late and was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. The beds were soft, the showers were hot, and the pool was cool with plenty of lounge chairs in the sun. All in all a wonderful place to spend a few days while checking out the towns of Maro and Nerja. We wish we could have stayed longer!
