So visited this place expecting a decent sized pool like in the picture but it's really small. The food area was very busy and small.
The staff had no personality and didn't talk or look at you. Another problem was that you need to wear a t-shirt to go inside by the pool so you couldn't get a nice cooling coke after a nice refreshing swim. You also need shoes and not to be wet.
The rooms were always dirty even after asking for them to be cleaned and no apology given after afterwards.
The lifeguard was slow to respond to screaming and shouting in the pool when a 10 year old boy was accidentally knocked unconscious and people dragged him out of the water shouting to the life guard but he took his time.
So overall a decent but negative experience.

Lovely place and the best food for all inclusive ive ever had. some staff can be quite rude. Hotel 1 food hall is so busy would suggest going to number 2. Beach is 2 mins walk away and shops which is perfect
Been 8 years in a row, thoroughly enjoy it every time. A bit loud at times with kids running around. Foods great, plenty of choice yo suit everyone.
Very friendly staff. Food plentiful and good could do with being hotter. Second visit and would holiday here again
This hotel has had some mixed reviews on line but for us it's great. The place is clean. Staff are helpful the food is good. There is plenty to choose from. The pool is a bit small but it's more for the kids I recon. We stopped in building 2. There is thr3e hotels to choose from and you can eat and drink in any. I would deffinatly recommend this hotel.
Reasonable hotel facilities for the area, all inclusive was limited and certain items had charges. Good location for PortAventura theme park and Salou/Cambrils.
love Estival lovely food and service quality been 4 times and going again in 2 weeks a defo from me
Always love our stays at estival park! We stay in hotel 2 which is kept lovely and clean. Would be a 5 star but the lack of vegetarian food let's the place down a bit.
This hotel is rated as 4 star, the surrounding maybe but the rooms are NOT, which is a real shame. We arrived week before Easter and though they had Spanish youth football teams staying it wasn't too bad. We where in the 2nd block, only 2 opened. The complex is MASSIVE, 3 blocks of hotel plus numerous apartments.
We did fullboard, we later found out we only included drinks at breakfast and we have to pay extra €10 per adult and €5 per child to use the indoor swimming pool(ridiculous). Even if you are all inclusive you can only use til 5pm, any later you pay!?! We still ended up saving over €300 compared to if we booked all inclusive. This is because my daughter only drinks water and milk(bought from local supermarket), only so much a 5yr old can drink and I don't drink alcohol. My husband had the whisky, brandy etc, we had cocktails and just paid or charged to room. Make sure you keep all your receipts. Even if all inclusive still have to pay supplement for some drinks.
The beautiful beach is less than 5 mins from the hotel. There is a supermarket less than 5 mins walk so you can stock up if not all inclusive, but make sure you ask to pay in € or face hefty bank charges.
For some reason our bed was two single beds next to each other each with its own duvet!??!
The food was absolutely divine and so many choices to cater for everyone. Starters, mains, deserts, hibachi, fruits, we were spoilt at all meal times (be prepared to put on weight), I ate even when I was full, that's how great the food was.
Kids club - my kids are 5 & 4, they had a wonderful time at the free kids club and nightly kids disco. Block 1 had the lower depth pool suitable for my children so we just went there as you can use facilities from any of the blocks. They also have games room.
The complex is beautiful and clean, also security camera's outside when walking to beach, kids club, other blocks etc (as a mum, this made me feel more secure).
This is a great place for young children, parents also get me time while kids are at the kids club win win. We had a great time, just a shame about the rooms.
Stayed in August with my sister and kids. All inclusive and was not disappointed by the variety and quality of the food. We were in Hotel 1 but had access to all 3 hotels & amenities as well as free passes to the water park which was a short distance away. Happy with the rooms & housekeeping, was glad to have a balcony overlooking the main road as entertainment/ music was on quite late for rooms with kids on the opposite side. Kids entertainment was poor.
Very disappointed with the customer care, found very few staff to be courteous & helpful. The staff at the front desk at times were extremely bad mannered and rude. The overall feeling from staff was that of production line workers and not what you would expect from those in the 'hospitality' sector. Seems such a shame as all that was great about it was undone with the unnecessary attitude of staff.
Basic manners & a smile go a long way. Could be easily rectified but you would have to wonder how they have gotten it so wrong.
I believe you pay for the quality of accommodation you'd like to get but a smile and manners should be standard.
Unsure if I would recommend or return.
