If you do not speak English, take a dictionary with you. We ended up paying a lot more than we bargained for because the person at the till misunderstood our request (and then proceeded to deny she had been the one doing the transaction). Luckily, a very kind employee named Jolanda from the ski shop helped us and went out of her way to make sure we were understood. The coffee shop is pretty good. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Also, avoid the resort at the weekend as the parking area is small and as soon as it fills up (which it does pretty early), the police close off access to the resort.

Nice ski resort, for day skiing only. No hotels or anything to do after they close.

I went on a week day. Excellent experience. It wasn't busy and took me only 40min driving from Madrid.
