Great beautiful food. You should not go pass the lamb from the wood fired oven which is mouth watering amazing. Don't forget to wander downstairs to explore the underground cellar where the ancient wines were stored.

Awesome! Good wine. Great tapas. There's a wine cave under the place and visitations are free. The food price is just right too, bottle of house wine 6 euros, 6 tostas with potatoes 12 euros. In my opinion this is a must.

Amazing 'lechazo' aka young lamb. Customer service quite 'Spanish standard' but not bad nevertheless.

Also, go downstairs to have a look t the incledible wine 'bodega' , it's quite stunning.

Recommended if you are in the area.

We were driving from Burgos to Madrid and took a random exit to stop for almuerza. We ended up in Anrranda del Duero and parked in the center of town. We walked around looking for a restaurant with lots of locals. Lagar de Isilla was packed, people spilling out into the street eating, drinking and talking.

We walked in and they had a table for 3 even during such a busy time. The food was extraordinary. Order the cordero with the menu of the day. Even my picky teenage sons loved the meal.
