Warning-they do not give refunds! Bought a children's book for a friend's baby. Brought it back, with original receipt, unopened, less than 24 hours later when my friend told me they already owned it and was told they do not give refunds, only store credit. There goes €15 when money is already tight!
The best selection of English language books in Barcelona, as far as I'm aware. Study books, non fiction, children's books, all kinds of genres, even comics. If you're looking for anything to read in English while in Barcelona, you should definitely visit Come In.
Amazing english language bookshop with a wide selection of books.
Great english book store. People that work there are super nice and if they dont have a certain book you are looking for they are happy to order it for you.
Fantastic selection of literature from Charles Dickens to Irvine Welsh. Great advice too!!
The most complete bookstore with the largest offer of English books in Barcelona. If they do not have what you are looking for they will order it and they will bring it for sure.
One of the best, and only, English bookshops in BCN worth visiting. Wide range of titles and genres - also very good for academic books
Great range of English books including Visual Aids on English Phrasal Verbs and Idioms!
I was able to buy the MADDADDAM trilogy by Margaret Atwood here. They have a small but intriguing collection of philosophy books as well, including one in the Posthumanism series published through U Minnesota P. I would like to inclusion of books on posthumanism and/or animal studies. I would also love to see the inclusion of American author George Saunders in their collection, as I am awaiting his first novel, which will be published next year. He is one of the preeminent North American English language authors writing today, and his writing bears similarities to Atwood and David Foster Wallace.
Well stocked and reasonably priced (which is not the same as cheap), but to know the prices you must pull a book off the shelf and find one of two bar code readers. Hold the book at the right distance and move the code across the scanner at the right speed and, voilà! But you must first get the hang of it.
