  This is not where you are going to get top-of-the-range home-made Italian ice cream. La Jijonenca is a chain, or probably a franchise.
  
  But what that does mean is that there is quality control and good hygiene standards too.
  
  So for a quick tea or coffee, with or without a slice of cake, or a nice ice cream or fresh orange juice when you are a bit hot and bothered from walking up the dusty main road, it's a pleasant stop over.
  
  It is right opposite the medical centre and a school, and next door to a Pizzeria if you need more food!
