Excellent food and reasonable. The establishment comes with a long history. It opened in 1884 and is still going strong. The smokers eat outdoors.
The breakfast is awesome and one you cannot comprehend. It is a very large buffet with a bonus of an excellent choice of coffees. This is a very pleasant place to eat.
They honor poets and have portraits of their country's "thinkers" two side by side, floor to ceiling.
They still make their brew and he told me 500 each barrel daily.response / report this review -

A chef’s culinary ineptitude was at full display when (s)he manages to flunk some basic recipes! If (s)he screws up a veggie-pasta dish, you know it is worth cautioning others whether they should pay any patronage to this place! I felt deeply sorry for the soggy and greasy seafood croquettes and fries that I had to endure! The vegetables fettuccine was over-cooked and the generous use of olive oil was rather gratuitous and sickening! The tuna-steaks was fresh enough but horribly bland!

Excelente! Mi casa fuera de mi casa hace años comenzando por la ubicación, personal de primera,altamente calificado con amplia experiencia. Les sugiero para empezar desayuno bufete variado, siguiendo por su excelente menú tapas del que sugiero el jamón de bellota 🔝acompañado de alguno de los excelentes vinos y alguna selección de su exquisito menú desde caldo gallego, carnes, pato, paellas🔝 pueden disfrutar de la terraza o salón.No se lo pierdan!🔝

Fuimos por la boda de mi cuñada y el menú era cocido madrileño completo, que estaba riquísimo. Una atención inmejorable.
