  I can’t recommend Bordonclinic. I traveled to Bordonclinic to get a root canal and crown. Everything went smoothly, staff was great and friendly.2 months later, I was experiencing sensitivity on the same tooth— but WHY? Root canal was already complete. Turns out the ‘specialist’ missed two canals that my dentist in the US identified. Crown was poorly placed and the canals that had been filled were filled poorly. Dr. Javier refuses to take accountability, even said he disagreed with the diagnosis, even though x-rays clearly show additional canals. I had high hopes for this clinic, as they are recommended highly, even by the US embassy on their list of healthcare professionals. This is going to cost me more to have it retreated and get a new crown. If you’re traveling from the US and on vacation in Madrid, considering getting some work doneJust spend the extra money to go to a US trained Endodontist/dentist. You may end up saving yourself money in the long run with higher quality dental treatment.

  I would like to also express my admiration for the dental team here. I was in Madrid for a trip this fall when I had a dental emergency (I had an infection under a filling: it was really excruciating). They saw me within an hour -- and performed a root canal that afternoon! (My dentist in America said the specialist did *very* good work.) I managed to make it through the rest of the week with my temporary filling -- this clinic really saved my trip. They spoke English well; were kind and knowledgeable; and very reasonable in terms of cost. Highly recommended.

  Bordon Clinic has been amazing. Our son is studying in Madrid, Spain for the fall semester. Javier was responsive, attentive and effective. We are grateful. After my son went to the ER and other suggested doctors, he still remained in pain, with constant throbbing, and tremendous swelling. After searching the Expat Websites and the US Embassy recommended practitioners, we discovered Bordon Clinic. We emailed them and IMMEDIATELY they responded by fitting in our son as an emergency the very next day. We could not ask for a better, more professional office. The time difference between Spain and the US was a factor and my son's cell connection was faulty, so communication was difficult. Javier even contacted me by phone to make sure we were all communicating. He was a wonderful encouragement to my discouraged son and prescribed treatment so my son could be on the road to recovery. We are amazed at the service level and receptive accommodating nature of this practice. For all the Expats out there, 5 stars!
