Nice room. Nice staff. Food lets it down. Indoor pool okay. Sauna doesn't open til 5pm.

Located 10 minutes from the beach. Rooms are quite spacious but at least the rooms I stayed in could've used more space for the bathroom and less for the bedroom. Room and bathroom were clean, nice balcony and view of the sea. Walls are paper thin though. If you have a loud neighbor who enjoys staying up late with TV turned on, you're doomed and won't get much sleep. Food is mediocre, vegetables mostly overcooked. Quite a variety of meals to chose from but at least to me very few were tasty. Would've loved to have some more typical Spanish treats like different selections of Jamon and Tapas. Indoor pool is poorly lit and not really welcoming.

We have stayed at this hotel four times and are going back for four nights next week. I can honestly say that this hotel is fantastic, it is spotlessly clean, the staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. We stay all inclusive, the food offers a great choice and my eight year old who was five when we first stayed at the hotel always eats well. There is a good selection of all inclusive drinks . The hotel is great for children with the indoor pool if the weather is not so good (we have had the odd rainy day when we stayed off season ) and there are lovely views from the terrace. When we have stayed during Easter and summer school holidays my daughter enjoyed coming and going to Bee club that is always run by nice staff. The hotels position could not be better with amazing sea views. The hotel is generally peaceful with entertainment not being over the top, there is a nice outside terrace from the bar which is great in the evenings. We are in the process of moving to Spain but will still be staying at the Cervantes for short breaks - I absolutely love it !

Stayed here for a week in June on an all inclusive basis. The hotel itself is amazing, looks newly refurbished. The reception bar was very nice with nightly entertainment. Pool was decent, although understandably busy but they also have a roof top pool which is usually quiet and has amazing views of Torremolinos. The poolside bar was very convenient. The room was awesome and was a very good size, bed was comfy and the air-conditioning worked a treat. The balcony was huge but this was because we had a room on the end of the hotel. The food was lovely, lots of variety but was mostly the same stuff everyday and so got repetitive on all inclusive. There are lots of decently price restaurants nearby though. Seems popular with older people and stag/hens parties.

We came here for a 2 week holiday. What a wonderful hotel.
Clean, friendly, wonderful room, very comfortable beds, fantastic food. They were constantly bringing out more food to make sure there was enough. Excellent choice. We used the pool on the roof thay was fantastic the views were great. Always cleaningthis hotel is spotless. Our room was done everyday and always looked and smelt clean when we returned to it. Just such a relaxing place to stay. Plenty of shops places to drinkpeople very friendly.

The hotel in general was okay. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. This hotel typically caters for European holiday makers and can be a bit busy with the + 65 brigade. There was a negative to the hotel there was a dog which was located in a private house close the hotel would bark most of the night this would wake you up on several occasion. The rooms are clean in general but the hotel is old and tired. To be fair the price I paid for the hotel was excellent.

Looks a little dated and bland out side. But the entrance hallway is large modern and open. The bars are ok. Rooms area good size and very clean. I found the beds very comfortable. Easy access to the town by foot and the coast is only a short stroll down very steep hills. The food was acceptable and standard for the area. The gym can't really becalmed a gym but the pools were nice.

Just came back from a long weekend away and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Rooms were clean and spacious. Facilities were good. Only complaints were:
Food - dinner was the same nearly every night. There seemed to be a lot of pork, which unfortunately I don't eat.
WiFi - They charge 5 euros a day for WiFi in the room and the connection was appalling. You should never be charged for it.
Staff - Whilst restaurant staff were pleasant, the reception staff came across miserable and rude. My key card was not working so I took it downstairs to reception and they immediately argued that 'I had it near my phone' (I didn't.) It was uncalled for.response / report this review -

Just back from a ten day stay at this hotel and i can honestly say we had a great holiday. The weather was just awful (we had only about four days of sun and warmth) but the hotel had enough to keep us occupied until it was good enough to go outside again. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The only thing i could find to complain about (and it isn't a complaint really) were the beds. There was only one pillow and the beds are very hard. However, we went to reception and asked for more pillows and a mattress topper which they provided within an hour of asking. So if you find this a problem for yourselves, just ask at the desk as they are more than happy to help. The maids did a great job keeping the rooms clean and tidy every day and they were always smiling and chatty. We had read many reviews on how the staff were unfriendly, but we never encountered any of that. The pool on the top floor was great. There was only a few people using the pool at any given time, so plenty of room to swim without bumping into anyone. As we went all inclusive, we ate mostly at the hotel and once again, there were no complaints, the food was lovely. Yes, they do serve a lot of pork, chicken and fish, but it was not all they served. I am a pretty fussy eater and we never went hungry as there is something for everyone regardless of what you like to eat. The desserts were delicious and although they were small portions, it meant you can have several different ones at a time, so you get to try as many as you want without feeling too greedy. The bar only serves beer in a wine glass unless you pay for it yourself but as you can get two drinks each time on your all inclusive wristband, it really wasn't an issue. Cervantes hotel is situated close to everything and even if you want to travel farther, the buses, taxis and trains are very reasonable. Would i return to the Cervantes hotel again? I most definitely would! Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday a very pleasant experience and i hope i will see you all again in the future.
