BCN Life has made our transition from the US to Barcelona as easy as it could possibly be. Akido, Lia and their team are fantastic and you cannot do better than choosing them as your Barcelona relocation team. When we decided to purchase our retirement apartment in Barcelona while still living in the U.S., we were not sure how we were going to set up a household remotely. BCN Life helped not only make the process stress free, but very enjoyable. They assisted us with remodeling and outfitting our apartment including helping us shop for furniture, taking deliveries, and coordinating subcontractors for the remodel. They even shopped on our behalf, sending us many great ideas and photos, helped us with setting up the alarm company, utilities, health insurance, and attending community meetings on our behalf. We have been so impressed with their services that we also contract with them to check up monthly on our property, which has been especially useful during the pandemic. We cannot overstate how incredible this team is. Very personable, detail minded, a joy to work with. We highly recommend them.

My family is working with BCN life to achieve our goal of time abroad with the family.

When I began encountering difficulties in obtaining the non lucrative visa for Spain, I sought counsel from several sources. After reading information on their website, I reached out to BCN life. Akida and his team took time to understand where we were in the process, what was our goal and desired date for arrival and what specific difficulties we were having. After having a clear understanding of our circumstances, BCN life helped us to meet some of the requirements for the non lucrative visa, specific to our consulate.

All of this work occurred during August which is notoriously difficult due to most people taking vacation during this month!

What I have been most impressed with is how Akida and his team excels in communication. They will check in with you to see how the process is going and if there is anything they can do on their end to help with the process. When we were looking for our permanent vivienda after a few months in temporary digs, we had no idea where to begin. It's not easy finding a landlord who wants to rent for more than 11 months these days but that was all we were managing to find, even with the help of one of the big agencies, who were telling us it was impossible to find what we wanted. One chat with Akida and he had the perfect flat waiting in the wings. We got our keys yesterday!

We worked with BCN Life to secure our non-lucrative visa and the process went smoothly. Because every Spanish consulate in the US has different rules for this particular visa and these rules are often in flux, having a consultant who has up to date intel on what documents to present at a particular consulate and how to fill them out is key. Akida spent a lot of time walking us through the process (including checking in regularly while we were waiting for documents) and we are greatly appreciative. Highly recommended!
