Just returned from our second visit to the aqua azul just as good as last year if not better. Good food, very clean and great staff. Would also like to thank staff for bottle of cava on ice and card in room for our anniversary, nice touch ! Hotels itself is in great location, very close to the old town but not to far from the New. We have recommended hotel to our friends who have now booked for next year, so the hotel must be doing something right. Thanks again for another great stay and will be back next year.

A top place to stay. The pool is secluded and away from the main street. Food is lovely and staff are great.

There are many positives about Agua Azul Hotel. The location is good if you want to be close to the old town. The rooms are very contemporary, all with walk in showers rather than them being over the bath. There is a little Frigde in rooms and a nice flat screen TV. The few things that let the hotel down are enough to stop me going again. First, the scramble to get to the pool sunbeds when the pool area opens in the morning is threatening. There are not enough beds leaving to a rush to put towels on beds even when not being used. This is not policed by staff leaving many beds not being used throughout the day. 2. The staff need to be more proactive in resolving issues. The TV in the room only had one channel showing. This was reported to reception staff who merely commented how other guests' has tampered with it with no suggestion of them trying to fix it. It needed retuning. All these are easily resolvable but will take effort on the part of the hotel.

Nice clean hotel but very basic. Nice pool and surrounding areas. Travelled with a group of friends, Great location, a short walk from shops restaurants and the stunning golden beach packed with great bars.

Not a 4 star room dirty and cramped.Felt like we was in a old folks home.Food average.Tomas cook should not be advertising this as a 4 star.Not happy with this hotel.Would not recommend this hotel.Lifts dirty and are of poor standards will wait for a good 5 minutes for one.Flooring on foors was very dirty

Been here 2 days and it is a Good hotel , food good , entertainment is what you expect in a Spanish hotel, the room lay out being open planned is a bit strange and is tight for space, staff friendly, free room safe, would come again as it good for the money, been here a week now and my opinion has not changed ,however I would not come in high season as the pool area is not big enough to seat that many, good location to go either into old or new Benidorm , it is good value for money .

This hotel is wonderful from reception as soon as you walk in, rooms cleaned everyday and fresh towels . The food is excellent loads to choose from soup, salads dinners then puddings and cakes, the hotel staff all of them are wonderful, location best place small walk to the beach, would well recommend to anybody and we got this bubbly sent from them
