Nice hotel in a residential area of Barcelona near the University sector. Great rooms but let down by a poor internet. The super fast internet was not fast, dropping out in the bedrooms regularly.
Breakfast was ok, not a wide choice but let down when the chair collapsed with a broken leg!
Staff were excellent and if the issues are fixed, this would be a really good hotel if you want a quieter visit.
Easy reach of two metro stations on L3 line and shops including Corte Ingles. 20 minutes numero to downtown Barcelona.response / report this review -

Spent a few nightd during a Congress, stayed in a very big and clean room with queen size bed and queen sized sofa bed. I would stay again.

The hotel located at a very quite area of the city but easy to access to all the major sightseeing attractions. The Hop-on and Hop-off bus has a stop just a minute walk from the hotel. The room is very nice with a large balcony. The service provided by hotel is very efficient. The ladies work at Front Desk are very helpful and always pleasant. As there is no Concierge in this hotel, so you could visit Front Desk for some basic information and suggestions of the city. Buying a ticket with 10 trips at 9.5 Euro per ticket which can be used on metro, bus and tram is worthy for a visit of 3-4 days. You are allowed to transfer to another trip within 75 minutes with the same ticket for free. If you are hungry, besides of hotel restaurant (which is the same one for breakfast), you could visit "Central Park Restaurant" (just out of the hotel, turn left). Another Italian Restaurant just a 3 minutes walk from hotel called "Restaurant La Tagliatlla" could be another option. These two restaurants are always packed at night by locals. It is very nice to take the hop-on and hop-off bus if you are the first timer of the city. Please note the day ticket only valid for the day, not counted by 24 hours as some other bus tour in other cities. The journey to airport only take less than 20 minutes and taxi cost you around 30 Euro. For visitor who wish to do the tax refund at Barcelona Airport, please go early as the line is very long. Sometimes, the staff at the tax refund office will ask you to show the merchandise, so you should do the tax refund first before check in your suitcase. The tax refund office is located at far left corner of Terminal 1 departure hall where we take Vueling Airline. If Barcelona is not the last destination of your trip in EU, then you need to go to the last country in EU for tax refund.

Nice, warm, and quiet room. Nice view from the balcony, but I reckon rooms on a lower floor might not be so fortunate. The Internet was surprisingly good. Large breakfast selection.
