This is a nice hotel with great staff, clean rooms, and a beautiful rooftop pool and restaurant. There is one serious flaw about the interior rooms, NOT DESCRIBED ON THE HOTEL WEBSITE. There is one wall of rooms that faces an ugly interior small courtyard of the hotel (our room was #819). For 5 days, we stared at a cement wall and could only see the sky through the upper part of our window. I've had hotel rooms in the past with unappealing views, e.g., looking across the street at another building, but never have I had such an unappealing view of a bare wall so close to my own room (about 2 metres). We tried several times to move but the hotel was too full. With the window open, one could hear every movement of the elevators. My concern is that their website does not describe how unappealing these interior room views are and perhaps not surprisingly, there is no picture that shows this view. These rooms should be much less expensive than the ones that look out over the Mediterranean or onto the lovely city streets and it should be CLEARLY STATED on the website that these rooms have an ugly view. I wouldn’t have minded so much if I knew what I was getting for my money. My advice to anyone booking is to not mar your Mediterranean adventure by being stuck in one of these rooms. Demand one that looks outside the hotel property and if you have to, pay more to avoid these interior rooms.

The rooftop terrace offers the best view over Málaga, the sea and the mountains. Perfect for sunset. If you are not a guest you will have to pay an 8€ ticket to go the top - that includes your first drink. Subsequent drinks are reasonably priced and often come with complimentary nibbles.

Don't like big, corporate hotels but this one's an exception. Location is excellent for the old town, night life, restaurants and all historic sites. Great views from all of the clean, well-appointed rooms. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Best of all is the very high rooftop pool, restaurant and bar area giving panoramic views all round. One might expect prices up there to be as high as the views, but surprisingly not. Recommended.

Had a 3-night stay while touring several sites in the region. The location is perfect for a home base for touring Malaga. You can walk to many restaurants and shops, which is a huge plus. Reception staff was pleasant and helpful, even with my nearly non-existent Spanish speaking skills. As a gold member, I was upgraded to a bay view, which was a nice touch, especially since the hotel was fully booked. The room was very spacious, especially for Europe and had everything you might need, though you have to ask for an iron. The one bad thing was the parking situation. To park a car, you have to either double park or park illegally in residential handicapped spaces and go inside to get a staff member to move your vehicle. Luckily I could wait with the car while my wife went to get the staff. Otherwise, we were told they are quick to tow or ticket, given the heavy parking demand in the street. I think the hotel should have a valet stand, manned or not, where you at least know where to wait. The whole parking process was not clear on the website. Aside from that, my stay was great.

This was my worst experience of staying in a hotel. We paid more than 200 euros per night for a suite in which the air condition was not working. When we reported that to the front desk they send somebody after 15 minutes to fix the air condition. This guy left to get his tools and came back several times and finally "fixed" the AC. There was no fix. the AC was not working. We complained few more times but no result. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Had a drink at the terrace bar. You must buy an €8 drinks ticket to be allowed up but the views from the top are well worth an €8 g&t!

Perfect location and view from rooftop bar was amazing. Room was good size, quiet and good bathroom. Only downside was that kettle and cups were provided but no teabags or coffee! (i guess you have to bring your own)
