Nightmare to get in. Complete bottleneck with zero organisation. Be prepared to be squashed. Arrive by 6:15pm if you want to get a good seat. Show itself was good, with impressive dancing by the performers. Despite the complete lack of rules anywhere else, there will be someone on guard to stop you recording.

The tanoura/whirling dervish show is one of the most spectacular things you can watch in Egypt. This is different from any whirling dervish you see in hotels or Nile cruises. This is sufi in origin and it shows.
