I have recently enjoyed an excellent days diving with Easy Divers on the Thistlegorm on Thursday 20th March 2014 with the Grand Plaza resort branch at sharm.
The dive guide Abdul was excellent as an experienced diver myself accompanied in the group with inexperienced divers, Abdul was both competent and attentive.
However the main down side in dealing with the Grand Plaza branch of Easy Divers is with the Salesman. His smoke and mirrors routine of how much the total dive package will cost was both annoying and dishonest. I agreed a fee in Euros, was told what it would cost in Pounds. When payment was asked for by card I was told I would have to pay in Egyptian pounds at a rate of 12.25 . this is ridiculous as the rate in the hotel foyet via the cashpoint was 11.22. When challenged the salesman became aggressive and discourteous. I paid Easy Divers in Cash using the 11.22 rate from the cashpoint. I was also charged for torch rental 5 Euros, these are handed out for free buy the dive guide when diving the Thistlegorm. Please beware when dealing with the sales person. I would not use Easy divers again.
