This is the first true pyramid, and a masterful achievement. The way in is not an easy ride, prepare your hamstrings and thighs for a crouched long walk, this place was not made to be visited.
We went here before going to Giza Pyramids and it was great. No crowds at all. We were able to go into the pyramids at little cost.
A great historical place with no service available to the visitors
A great pyramid but not too many ppl knows it unfortunately
Absolutely outstanding. The views are great and if you are capable of a short/moderate stair climb one can enter the pyramid. If you are claustrophobic not a place for you.
One of the first pyramids built, we were able to go inside and explore the tomb. Beware, is a 25 meter squatted hike down and not made for the weak kneed! Very cool experience my hamstrings are still sore from the trek up and down!
Beware! Approximately 200 steps to reach the entrance. Then you must bend over and back down 143 steps then climb up stair case with another 42 steps. Well breathing an ammonia smell. Ventilation pipe installed but not in use.
It's plain compared to many but neat.
This is the best preserved pyramid in this area. You can walk by it and understand what is the real apperance of pyramids at very first time.
Not many tourist visit this area, so it's easy to take beautiful pictures, that's another reason I recommend this place strongly!
This first time know Red permides
♥♥♥♥♥ I visited it with 5 Continents Travel and it was amazing , it was built by King Senefru (4tn Dynasty of the old kingdom)
