One of the best diving/snorkeling sites in Dahab, the boat journey from the blue hole to there is fascinating (10-15 min. with the speed boat), the place is quite, you will enjoy the day there if you are couples or group looking to spend the day chilling under the sun and informant of the sea, the food provided by the locals is good (rice, chicken, potato with red souse, or you can order BBQ fish), bring your snakes/beer with you if you wish.
Not suitable for kids the sea current is strong with no sand beach.response / report this review -

That's what early humans did, this is how they lived and this is where I found balance and learned life. Run away from the city and the concrete jungle. Here you will wake up with the sun and sleep under the everyday show of the milky way. Bring your pointers and instruments and travel and be free. My ultimate place on earth.

Simple nature, sea, mountains and good people..just relax. The huts are very nice and spending the night is a different experience if you are ok with giving up luxries for a night.

Ras Abu Galum is one of the Sinai’s protected National Park diving areas. Located in the far North of Dahab, we travel by camel back or foot trekking (optional if you have had enough of the camel on route) through the winding foot of the mountainous scenery, across the Red Sea coast. On arrival you will find a small Bedouin community and beautiful landscapes, on land and under the sea's surface. Well known as a place where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of town to enjoy some of Dahab’s more vibrant dive sites set in a beautiful protected area. Great sites full of marine life and vibrant reefs. This is not just a nice get away out of town but a real beautiful and unforgettable day.

One of the best places I have ever visited. I recommend staying a night there to see lots of amazing stars and the milky way.
