Nice place to have air conditioner room after visiting the pyramids.

So hard to believe that you're looking at something that is over 4.500 years old. The state of preservation is just incredible - an absolute must see. Even more mind boggling are the size of the stone blocks that were used to cover over the pit that it was in.

The worlds oldest best preserved ship - 143 ft long and 19.5ft wide. It was designed for sailing, it was discovered in 1954 in a pit around the side of the pyramid. It is believed to have been built for Khufu - the 2nd pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty of Egypt.

We booked the boat for a cruise on the Nile. It can hold 25 people comfortably, but you the galley is cramped and the brig only holds two at a time. The boat has all the amenities and you can fish, tube and water ski behind the boat as it has a top speed of 15 knots an hour. The crew were professional and courteous. The booze flowed freely and the food was amazing! All in all, I would recommend this highly.
