I used Egypt Tours Portal for transportation to and from Cairo Airport four times. Each time the drivers were there on time. Always very professional with good, clean and air conditioned cars. We booked three individual, private full day tours. We were fortunate to have the same tour guide, amr Moses, for all three tours. Moses was an excellent guide. He was very professional and knowledgeable with an excellent command of the information for each tour. He was always making sure everything met our expectations, which they did. Request Moses if you book any tours. You will not be disappointed. Also, the meals provided on the tours were very good and plentiful.

True and honest review here. Let me start by saying this was my first time ever traveling to Egypt and from this experience it will not be my last. The customer service was phenomenal from beginning to end. I reached out to customize and create my own itinerary based off things I wanted to do and they were very prompt with their response times, and accommodating to my requests. The prices are fair, and the tours themselves are more than what I could have asked for. I did a 4 day tour with Mohamed as our tour guide and Ibrahim as our driver and they made us feel so welcomed and safe (Cairo is extremely safe btw. The people are friendly. Please don’t be afraid to walk around during the day or at night). They really did their best to make us feel comfortable and I did. They even took us to a local lunch by request so we could try real Egyptian food. I truly feel like writing a review doesn’t tell you just how great everything was. Please book and see for yourself!!!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. There are so many other options to use but this one is a true cheat. We were scheduled to arrive for a 1 week tour on 3/21/2020. The week prior the US and Egypt locked down there borders for international travel due to COVID-19. Egypt was having an outbreak on the same boats we were to travel on. Leading up to our trip for weeks we discussed with the company about they pandemic which was starting and they said the pandemic was being blown out of proportion. One week later Egypt government locked down the country. We cancelled out trip and was able to get back partial refund per there cancellation policy and pleaded with them to refund the full balance due to the unique circumstances. They refused. Great right? Problem is they never refunded the money. They kept playing the we sent it already game. I had to go through my credit card to recover the partial refund and again they refused to refund the full balance even though there government stopped all foreign entry. It is probably a fantastic place to visit but I would not use this company for any tours or travel.

Our 19 day private tour was absolutely fabulous from start to finish! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! you can customize your trip, as we did. Added extra “jet lag days” at the start. It included Cairo/Giza, Alexandria (with our excellent tour guide, Max). Max did many extras for us, including making arrangements with our hotel and transfers. He was very informed and his tours were excellent! Then we were in Hurghada. Loved our time in that beautiful location! From there, Luxor to Aswan, with a 4 day Nile cruise. Our guide there, Mahmoud Nour was (and is) fabulous! Besides being so knowledgeable and interesting, he has such a positive outlook and a great sense of humour! He is such a genuine and nice person! Mahmoud took many pictures of, and for, us and has continued to send them to us since we have returned home. My husband caught a cold and Mahmoud continued to check on his well being when we were back in Cairo and when we got home. You can request your tour guides through the company. Both Max and Mahmoud took us to markets and restaurants that were “off the beaten track” Do yourself a favour and have Max in Cairo and Mahmoud in Luxor as your guides!

We booked 5 days Cairo&Luxor&Abu Simbel tour and it was fantastic! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for special tour. It was well organized from the beginning till the end. As we were promised, the representative has been waiting for us at the airport and he took good care of everything for us made it easier than we expected. Our tour guides were well educated and they answered every question we ask without hesitation. During the tour timing and organizing were just perfect! Our tour guides took us very nice restaurant as we were curious about Egyptian food was delicious. Hotels where we stay during the tours were comfortable. Special thanks to Omar Haridi who was one of our tour guide, he was very kind to us and also tried to make us feel comfortable and he made this trip so special for taking us small River Nile tour was fantastic as well. Not only a great tour guide but also has great sense of humor that make you feel like home. Thank you Omar and thank you Egypt Tours Portal!
