قلعة قايتباي بالأسكندرية
من اهم المعالم المطلة على البحر المتوسط.
وبجوارخا كذلك فنار الاسكندرية والذي يعتبر من عجائب الدنيا السبع القديمة.
بامكانك تأجير المراكب او اليخوت واحذ جولة مع العائلة.
والاستمتاع بمظر البحر الذي يجمع بين قلعة قايتباي ومكتبة الأسكندرية وكذلك فنار الأسكندرية.
مكان رائع وهواه يرد الروح.
لكن القلعة تحتاج الي اهتمام من الناحية الخاصة بالوعي الاثري او التراثي .. لأن بها إهمال شديد في هذه الجزئية.response / report this review -

To be honest i don't think visiting citadel (or something similar) is my thing. So I can't really say i love this place but objectively this place is nice and amazing. I took some good photos from here which i consider few the best from my Egypt trip.

An amazing place with great sea view and such great history. Visitors must visit to the third floor to see nice sea view and the back side of the fort to take great photos with sea view background.

Very good place to visit , you can see stone construction of the castle and of course the air wells in the castle , not mentioning the good scenery and nice places to take pictures

Such great historic place needs appropriate management and managerial skills. I would recommend giving the management of the place to a private corporation under tight government supervision

This citadel from the fifteenth century is greatly preserved and it is definitely interesting to wander around. The site lacks signs that point you to significant areas though so a lot is left to your own imagination.

This is one of the best places you can visit in Alexandria. The environment is so good, a beautiful site on the Mediterrenean to enjoy the view and cool breeze of the sea along with the historic masterpiece.

This is a historic place which was built by Sultan Qaitbay at the same place where the lighthouse were.
Sultan Qaitbay used this Citadel to beat the Crossadurs by a very smart plan.

An outstanding and well maintained historic fort. Though not very big but it is worth watching. Medeteranian sea on one side and the city of Alexandria on the other, the fort is rightly called as the citadel.

A great historic place to spend a day enjoying the sun and the sea living in a different marvelous era with all what it carries from magnificent defence architecture, brilliant design of the mameluke era and the awesome canons and war machines of the ottoman empire.
