Airport is good but bad waiting area for those who come to pick up

No canteen no washroom outside you have to go next terminal

Slow ticketing counters! People not flying business or first were being assisted at first/business counters and it took so long I nearly missed my flight and I was there 2 1/2 hours early! Heads up; beggars are everywhere trying to "help" with your bags and don't work for the airport. Security is rude, I went through 3 security checkpoints and they do not understand English. Only Arabic, Even though English is common in Cairo. The airport is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting and normal amenities like coffee are non existent.

Worst airport I've been to in my life. This is coming from someone who's travelled to third world countries. Staff we're incredibly unhelpful. It was total chaos. Get here a day before if you want to make your flight.

Modern und mostly efficient terminal. Far better than the older ones - only services star alliance flights. Immigration control and baggage are very slow most the times, though
