Reasonable prices. Ordered a Roast pork which is tender and nice. Surely not frozen food 😄. Also tried the marinated chicken thigh 😉👍 taste good too. Worth a try in Estonia. Place is also very "Instagram"able.,😍😚

Really liked this place. Good service, the decor is nice, the house beer is tasty and the food was well priced and really tasty. Its touted as being 'authentic' and I'm not sure that's entirely true, but given its charm I'm prepared to cut it some slack. Would happily visit again.

Loved the food here. The bread was fresh and had the perfect mix of crunch and inner softness. I ordered pork and also the ribs, and it broke apart easily while chewing. Highly recommend!

Very traditionally styled location, with lots of typical Estonian dishes. Only one vegetarian option for the main meal, but it's a tasty one.

Prices are mid range. Expect to pay 12-20 euros for the main course, with good size portions.

There are plenty of good options in the nearby streets, but this was clean, with good food, friendly staff, multi-language menus, and nice decor. A very solid option if you're in the neighbourhood and fancy trying something local.

Amazing restaurant tucked in the Old City. Came here with four hungry friends, leaving as four very full guys. Meat plate and sausage plate we're fantastic. House beer was worth the trip.

What a great place, I had a pumpkin soup, warm honey beer and a golden piglet- good portions and delicious :) I'm staying in Tallin one more day, so I'm sure I'll visit this place again tomorrow :)

Friendly staff, good beer (try the honey Saku).
Had the fried black bread with garlic and cream cheese (very good), the beetroot soup, the sauerkraut soup (very good too) and the "Sausage Feast" (delicious, but quite a challenge) and the kefir with barley and berries.
A Tallin Vena (cinnamon liquor) to top it up.
Price 35 euros (including two pints of beer) per person.
Definitely a great place!

Fantastic place for lunch in the tourist scrum of Tallinn. Just up from Town Hall square. Have the Estonian lager, witches casserole, sausage with sauerkraut and the potato and barley porridge with ham. It will fortify you on a chilly summer day. Service was fantastic. Sit in Martin's section!

Unfriendly staff. Didn't serve us food on a Sunday evening because they said they were too busy! Ridiculous. Six tables were still inside free.

I was surprised the reviews were so high here, perhaps we came on a bad day. Our service was quite friendly but that was the only good point. The house beer wasn't great and incredibly expensive compared to other local prices. The food was very low quality with the emphasis being on quantity and not quality. The food didn't taste fresh and felt like it had been sat for some time. This is clearly a massive tourist trap so I would only go if you have no other options or don't care about having 'real' Estonian food.

Great food and cozy farm style decor. Definitely try the pork knuckle if you're hungry. Good beer and if you do/don't want alcohol, definitely try the "bread" beer. It's nonalcoholic and very yummy. Like drinking a delicious dark piece of bread. It's a truly unique experience. (I ended up stealing a bunch from my daughter)

Breaded cod was excellent! Our kids snapped them up without a fight. I had the wild boar stew which was OK, nothing too spectacular.

The house beer was good, I really enjoyed it especially on a hot day.

Took the waiters a while to warm up to us, but service was Otherwise prompt.
