    A wonderful experience!
We loved the pumpkin soup, the perfectly cooked salmon, the tasty elk and the superb dessert. The service has been great with a lot of explanations about the food we were eating even if the restaurant was full. It is not the cheaper restaurant but the quality is really good.
Thank you, hope to be able to come back to Tallin and to your restaurant!

PHENOMENAL. We were lucky to walk in and get a table without a reservation, as this place is so popular - and now we know why. The food was not only beautifully presented, but so, SO tasty. We had one of the best wines we've ever tasted thanks to the recommendation of one of the friendliest, most wonderful waitresses I've ever encountered, Kristin. When they heard it was a birthday lunch we also got a candle in the dessert and one of the most hilarious renditions of Happy Birthday I've ever heard! Totally, 100% recommend - but make sure you book!

I've eaten here two times, and both times it's been magical. The most valuable part of the experience is the service. The waiters are all very friendly, talkative and likeable.
The food is delicious and there are quite many choices. The place has very good vegan options. The portion is not too small nor too big, it's exactly right, even leaving room for dessert (if you're hungry). The prices are fair for the excellent service, location and quality of food.
No one told them that we were celebrating my birthday, but lo and behold, the waiter comes with a candle in my dessert and all the waiters start singing.

Hidden Gem in Tallin! Excellent dishes, sweet service, reasonable price, warm environment!

    What we had:
Starters - fried mushroom / fried fish fillet salad
Main - Pork / Beef liver
Drinks - Earl Grey tea / Mixed juice

Starters were perfect! Delicious and delicate! Main courses were also great, just my personal mistake to order the liver in medium plus and it tasted a little bit over cooked. I will try medium for next time. The pork was soft and juicy, side dish was also well.

This fantastic meal just cost around 35euros. We definitely cannot find such a good restaurant with this price in Helsinki! Fully recommend if you are considering!

Complementary, home-made bread which was amazing. Every dish and drink came fully explained and tasted incredible. One man on the table next to us asked about the building and the waiter knew every detail about its history. All for a very reasonable price. We even got to ask to buy a loaf of the bread to take home. Couldn't recommend enough.

This place is a must! But book a table early, it hasn't earned the title "Best restaurant in Tallinn" for nothing so it's very popular. Service here is always full 10 (I know, I'm a regular)! They offer all kinds of great, Estonian delicacies like deer meat and herring + incredible vegetarian options. If you like garlic or want to try something different than the chicken breast or a stake go for the lentil main course, it was incredibly packed with flavour. But the one thing that you must order is the warm chocolate cake, it is literally to die for and the reason why me and my friends return there constantly.

We very luckily got a spot while walking around Tallinn and we had the best time. The food was fantastic, from the bread at the beginning to the dessert and coffees we finished with. Absolutely delicious. On top of that the staff were just the loveliest. I will definitely come back!

The best afternoon we could have asked for! Casper ensured we selected the right bottle of wine, provided fantastic meal suggestions, and the food surpassed expectation. We feel very fortunate to have got in without a reservation. We will be back!

For the starter we had plate with different kind of cheeses and also fresh baked bread as a compliment from the restaurant. Bread was totally amazing! For mains we had beef tenderloin, juicy and melting in a mouth. Also we had elk steak, which was very delicious. We took two desserts, both very delicious. Maybe just chocolate cake was better. ServiceI cannot describe how good it was. Waitress was attentive, thoughtful, and nice. Recommending this place to try. P.s. make reservations beforehand

I usually am a bit skeptical about number 1 rated restaurants but this one proved me wrong. It is one of the rare restaurants that master excellency on all levels. Service was impeccable with an amazing personalized touch. Food was great although I might have chosen a simple dish but it was my choice. The pumpkin bread is great and the dessert amazing. Simple menu with not too many options. But each one looks well thought of. Book in advance as we were super lucky when we went for early lunch and got the last unreserved table.

Great little restaurant in the old town of Tallinn. The service is excellent and so is the food. It's a really cosy old building with really thick walls. The cost for the food is not too expensive either. But book well in advance for dinner! Even for lunch they are usually full.

A very nice restaurant in the Old Town, with great cuisine and affordable prices. I had a heartwarming pumpkin soup and selection of Estonian cheeses to start with; homemade bread; then the pork tenderloin but unfortunately I did not have any space left for dessert. The waiter was charming and knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm and cosy. Booking in advance is recommended, the place got packed very quickly!

FOOD LOVERS BE AWARE! This place can satisfy any tongue buds. Beautiful place, elegant service, delicious food and a nice selection of wines. Oh, and the fluffy bread! The prices are quite low, the most "expensive" dish is under 17€. We'll be back there pretty soon!

I stopped here while my travel buddy wasn't feeling well. I was bummed to eat alone but this place made me feel right at home when I entered. The girl who showed me to my table and waited on me was wonderfully pleasant, caring and knowledgeable. The food and drink were delicious and exactly what was needed after a long day of travel and sight seeing. I will be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a place that makes you feel welcome while providing a meal you won't forget.

Cosy place. Rather low prices. Very knowledgeable people working there! Got lots of info about food and drinks, one of the best places ever in this regard. Loved that. Good food, but not excellent.

Great place with servers who have great personality bringing wonderful food. The bread is unmatched. The herring salad an interesting twist on a Caesar. Mushroom soup in a clear broth a pleasant surprise. Our first taste of elk roast was enhanced by a rich sauce. We closed with the bread pudding accented with raspberry sherbet.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly service and delicious flavors. Lunch here is a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the zucchini salad, mushroom soup and the local apple cider. I would love to return and try the frozen blue cheese dessert 🍨
