Beautiful palace and magnificent garden. Great for families. Very quiet and relaxing place.
Very beautiful, old track, apple garden, supper fresh air.
Beautiful manor with plenty of space and trails to wander around.
Excellent complex of houses, 2 exipitions, an apple yard, a small winter greenhouse, winery, forest trails, i love it
Lovely manor house with a nice garden.
Lovely place to visit!
Manor house was overflowing with period pieces and information, overdone to my taste. Walls around the grounds were quite nice. What really made our day was the smithy. His knowledge, willingness to share, site and tell were amazing. Unfortunately for most is that his second language is German.
Nice place to walk.
Probably the best maintained, restored and preserved Manor House in Estonia.
Lovely grounds, nice restaurant on site with views over the lake. Visitors centre with a great RMK display. There's a shop in the ticket office selling the usual gifts.
Spirit distillery museum, orangery, plenty of walks around the grounds and a maze.
The house itself is beautifully presented with each room well explained, plaques on the walls give you the history of the house and the family. The house is on 3 floors including the cellars.
They have live demonstrations in some rooms, and the staff are on hand to provide explanations.
Entrance is €7 per adult and gets you access to the house and other buildings. Just walking around the grounds is free of charge.
Parking is across the road and is free.
Amazing window into history with both the main building and many supporting buildings well restored
Simply beautiful. Takes your breath away
Palmse, a trip to Estonia
During my exchange program to Estonia, we went to this beautiful mansion house. I loved it there! The Blacksmith is a very enthusiastic man that tells you interesting stories about his work.
The property that belongs to this building is quite large, so there is plenty to see. You get a good view of the families that used to live here and the history that goes along with them. Definitely worth a visit!
