A genuine look into this tower/Bastion past
Great photos,lots to read, some good models among the original items on show
The guide that are there dressed in authentic clothing are very informative
Clean,well run and an intresting place to visit
I did not go on the tunnel tour

Very rich and nice little museum. The guides were very helpful. My 8 year's old son really enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone interested in history.

Great place to explore and kill a few hours. Great views and wonderful exhibits. Would definitely bring others here. Even has hands on activities for kids.

Interesting place. Great displays up in the tower. Look out for the random fire escape on the top floor that leads out to a sheer drop.weird! Don't assume that because a door is open and the lights are on and there's a display to look at, that you're allowed. I did that, then as I was leaving was intercepted by a grumpy teenage assistant telling me I shouldn't have been there. Darn it, totally forgot to pack my telepathic powers! 😎

🐤 Tower of Kik-in-de-Kök. Средневековая артиллерийская башня. Раньше она имела площадку наверху, в отверстия были выставлены пушки, а внизу хранится порох. За время нее жизни она несколько раз подвергалась частичному разрушению. В настоящее время ее отреставрировали и вернули к первозданному облику. Внутри сейчас находится музей и фотогалерея, которые стоит посетить незаконному зрителю.
🗨️ The artillery tower (Kiek in de Kök) was It was built in 1475, 38 meters high and 4 meters thick with walls. One of the most powerful Tallinn defensive structures, it had five vaulted floors and an open platform at the top. The bottom floor served to store gunpowder, on the other were guns. During its existence, the tower managed to repel more than one attack on Tallinn. The most serious damage was done to her during the Livonian War, when in 1577 the troops of Ivan the Terrible besieged Tallinn. Now there is a museum and a photo gallery. #leslastravel🐤

Enjoyed the tour through the tunnels that run along the bastions. Interesting to learn more about the history of them and how they've been used in different eras.

The stairs to the top of the tower are a bit narrow but it's quite a nice view once you get to the top.

The museum provides a nice history of Tallinn and is well restored. We also did the tour of the tunnels. The tour was great, about an hour long. Provided a lot of history and interesting facts about Tallinn.

Good place to know more information about history of Estonian army, Also in the last floor you will find a great hall place to take photos for old town from one of the highest point.

If you go on the tour of the tunnel you get a nice overview of Tallinns history, very interesting. Remember to call the day before to let them know your taking the tour ;)

Very informative. Bought full ticket-13€, which included everything. Tunnels in total around 700m and all around year 7℃. Upper cafeteria was closed at tower, but view was very nice. Not much original stuff, more copies.
