A must visit if you are around. Learn the story of the first estonian to sail around the world, Ahto Valter, who relates to Käsmu

Quirky place to visit. Not much was explained in English but it's a cool place to look around. A lot of paintings and really old photos. They also serve lunch at 2pm which includes pet tasty salmon but reservations are required a day ahead.

Interesting place to visit, especially with the lunch option here. You get to eat with the couple who owns the place and enjoy the meal with other guests. They usually provide salmon and dessert. Recommend!

Really interesting stuff, it's worth stopping there for a while to check the fishermen and sailors equipment. Visiting this museum shouldn't take more than 30 minuets, the whole stuff is not described in English.

In a museum you expect some explanation. Not around here. Once we had paid the obligatory donation, we were left on our own. Looking around this "museum" will not take more than 10 minutes.

Great little museum. Käsmu is a nice little holiday town with some beautiful houses. The museum is very quaint and shows the history of the sea captain school and the shipping background of the area.

There is plenty to see inside with lovely and knowledgeable staff.

Outside there's the old lighthouse and some cool old buildings and a viewing platform.

Outdoor seating in old boats and picnic areas with fire pits are available too.

Käsmu is well-known village of ship-builders from the beginning of 20th century. Seamuseum fits well into Käsmu and is well-maintained.
Also, museum area is used to organize concerts.
