Is a medieval Lutheran church in the old town district of the city. Built sometime during the first half of the 13th century. The church stands out for its 17th century beautiful clock on the white facade.

Tiny, solid, medieval gothic church with excellent narrative picture-bible-paintings-walls to explain & remind Scripture to illiterals. Contemporary narrative stained glass windows with Scripture quotations.

Where : Church of the Holy Ghost or Church of the Holy Spirit – Tallinn - Estonia
Title: Beautiful piece of art & architecture

The small Church of the Holy Spirit, that is located in the old town district of Tallinn, Estonia has a simple but really beautiful medieval architecture and according Wikipedia started to be built sometime during the first half of the 13th century. You will need to pay a small fee to visit inside, we believe we paid around 1euro, but its worth to check the remarkable main altar, a work by Bernt Notke dated from 1483 and other pieces of detailed art in wood that makes the church really special.

    Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 4
    Recommend: Yes we totally recommend.

The exterior clock is probably the most photographed tourist attraction of Tallinn. The medieval Lutheran church interior isn't too spectacular at all, but still worth a look. Abundant use of wood makes it a welcoming place. 1€.
