This is an Indian restaurant, although the staff are not Indian, and neither is the decor. But the food is as Indian as in most European Indian restaurants, and is extremely plentiful. If you choose the vegetarian options, it is also very cheap. But for a more exotic experience, they also do moose korma, though that costs a bit more.
Food was below average. We ordered Indian Bread (Naan), Mutton rogan josh, and Veg Vindaloo.
The bread was elastic and chewy , Mutton Rogan Josh was ok , and Vindaloo was hell hot.
On positive side, the service was fine. The waitress were nice and cheerful.
Food and drinks were good and there were very many vegan-friendly options. It was very cozy place. But waitresses were all the time chatting with their friends and I felt that they weren't really interested about doing work.
The interior is 20 years the same and I like it. Always i go there for surronding. Good indian food you may find anywhere else as well in Tallinn.
Nice and cozy Indian restaurant. You will not leave hungry (portions are big!). Might be the taste is not 5 star but it's probably the best in Tallinn Old Town
Got in without a reservation after a short wait. Nice personnel, fast service. The food was mostly good, some flavours were a bit over the top to my taste.
Awesome service and delicious food. Oh, and soundtrack is also alright Last time i went there "Oh Susie" by Secret Service just made my day
Totally recommend this place, it’s probably the only good Indian restaurant in old town.
l wish they would discover lights in that place. Reading the menù is an adventure in itself. At least some candles would be a win
Great indian cuisine! Vegetables, rice, lassi, everything is so delicious.
working as a chef @Elevant resto best indian food home curry and spicy bobby
Curry comes with complimentary rice and bread, which is quiet unusual in Tallinn as in other places you normally get rice and salad or nothing at all. Bread was warm and tasted super. Curry was nicely spiced and hot as I like. Can't give 5 stars because both curries we got served were 'creamy' style; even my vindaloo, quiet unusual!
The best Indian food in Tallinn. Great atmosphere in a historical building. Also offers the best Estonian beer (Saku Hele) that's pretty rare in restaurants. Highly recommended.
The Elevant in Tallin is by far the best restaurant in town (if you like Indian cuisine, that is). If I had to pay double, it would still be worth every single cent. I am very fond of the Indish cuisine and I do not hesitate to say that it is the best Indish restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to be a guest of (although I have to admit that I have never been to India itself). I'll even go further and say it is in my all time top ten of any restaurant I have visited in my entire life. If you are in town, don't hesitate. Try it. Really go there right now or regret it for the rest of your petty human existence
Very-very beautiful and tasty! Friendly service and quick food serving. The best Indian place I tried in Estonia.
Excellent food Very convincing quality n taste Service was fabulous
Good place for tasty Indian food in Tallinn, the best I've tried here so far!
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Tallinn - steady quality already for 15 years.
Really great food. If you take the meat selection have more than 2 people in the group
Cozy place, good food and quite good prices for big portions.
Decent asian food, average service
Best Indian restaurant in Estonia. A bit expensive in Estonian standards. But well worth it.
Really, Elevant has great atmosphere, service, and food. Located in Old Town, you can expect to pay a bit more.
Make a reservation since it might be packed - usually during nights.
