A gorgeous, small park full of iguanas, water turtles, fish, and birds. It is not unusual to see many tourists walking around inside, taking photographs, or feeding the animals. It has some attractive monuments, a nice gazebo, and a pond, in which the turtles hang out and keep cool.
    Photo opportunities abound.
Uni and Continental hotels surround the park.

Parque de Las Iguanas (as it is locally known) is covered in friendly Iguanas! It also felt like a safe place to be a tourist. Its a small but beautiful park where you can't miss the wildlife!

Amazing place to walk around - just beware of pickpockets though, since it's downtown common sense should keep you fine.

Beautiful local park with tall Banyan and other trees to relax and enjoy a peaceful moment. The coolest part is all the large iguanas roaming freely all over. I'm from Florida and their cousins, the lizard, are so tiny in comparison. The iguanas are worth the trip alone.

The Iguana Park in Guayaquil was the highlight of my whole trip. Located in the city center, Seminario Park is an open park where you can feed and see huge Iguanas native to Ecuador. There's also a lady in the park that sells lettuce to feed the Iguanas and bird seed to feed the numerous pigeons.

Make sure to take your camera only if it looks safe. This place can get crowded during weekends.
