THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN MY LIFE. There is no electricity at all in the place and no hot water. The walls don't reach the ceiling, and there's a big gap in between. That's where a ton of insects come through. The walls also have holes in them. At one point in the night, a bat entered our room. The place is filthy and crawling with bugs. There were multiple times during our stay that we found dirty sheets and ants crawling in the pillow.
Worst of all, we unsafe, because we couldn't lock the door when we left our room. I guess you get what you pay for with $13.00: absolutely nothing.

Un lugar muy bonito, dentro del área protegida Selva Viva, para ingresar se debe navegar por el río Arajuno, Runa Wasi es un lugar perfecto si necesitas desconectarte de todo y volver a la naturaleza, para ingresar primero debes llegar a la ciudad del Tena, para luego tomar un bus que te lleve hasta puerto barandilla, (Río Arajuno), tomas un bote y listo, el lodge oferta precios convenientes y es administrado por la comunidad local.

Runa Huasi is an experience. You learn about nature, about how lucky we are leaving in this planet.Jose and his team look after the guests as if they are part of the family. You learn how nature give us so many things and the importance of protect it. Tony and I wish you all the best in this project.

Runa Huasi bestaat uit enkele junglelodges op een mooie afgelegen plek midden in de jungle. Te bereiken per kano, of via een trail door het woud. Zeer gastvrije eigenaar en de service is erg goed. Er is geen stroomaansluiting maar wel warm water. Ook zijn er enkele activiteiten mogelijk die samen met een gids uitgevoerd worden. Per nacht betaal je $13,50 pp (exclusief maaltijden)
