Nicely situated resort with stunning views of the river and surrounding forest. They serve a good buffet with local food. Rooms are simple and nice with outdoor balconies with views. Catering to larger groups, some of the detail and personality is lost in the experience. Overall positive.

Talk about being out in the wild! A lot of steps to get up to the hotel from the canoes which bring you to it. But a wonderful place with very nice rooms. No glass in the windows, just screens - but you don't need them! We enjoyed watching the bats at night skimming the swimming pool for the drowned bugs :)

Very private high Casita. Screened with ceiling fan. No air conditioning. This was okay. The food and staff excellent. The programs superb. My sink had mold and we ran out of hot water very quickly. But still a four star experience due to the location, food and hiking programs. Could use a little more lighting too.

Located on the Napo River deep in the Amazon jungle this lodge is lushly landscaped with a massive variety of local plants and flowers. Access to jungle trails by canoe are a major convenience offered as well as such attractions as a tropical butterfly farm and balsa carving exhibition. Food is first class with plenty of variety and the rooms are huge each with a large balcony and hammock. This lodge offers everything from total relaxation to energetic jungle hiking.

Amazing location. The hotel has some of the most beautiful grounds I have ever seen in a hotel And you are in the Amazon Rain Forest. Be sure to take the nature hike, on the private area, up river, reachable by boat. Gorgeous. Town is cute and quaint, so be sure to explore.

Beautiful location, staff was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, rooms were very clean and spacious. In the mornings we woke up to monkeys jumping around in the trees right outside of our room.we stayed at a few different places on our trip and this was by far the best place we stayed. If you are into nature, you will love this place!!!
