QUINTA NATURA IS A VERY GOOD HOTEL FOR TRANSIST PASSENGERS,.CLOSE TO AIRPORT WITH A SHUTTLE SERVICE ANYTIME FOR A REASONABLE CHARGE CHARGE.CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE ROOMS WITH GOOD SCENIC PROPERTY.OWNER IS WILLING TO HELP ANYTIME IN ENGLISH.WESTAYED TWO TIMES.AIRPORT IS 12 KM AWAY.BUS SERVICE FROM/TO AIRPORT WITH ONE EASY CHANGE.

Our group paid for the room in advance through Airbnb. The next morning the owner, Patricio, asked us for an additional $175 for the cost of the room and breakfast. We showed him our receipt from Airbnb, whose policies state that all expenses, taxes and fees are paid in full prior to your stay, but he would not accept his mistake. We were virtually forced to pay him a "settled upon" price of $120 due to our limited knowledge of the area and how far away we were from the city. The accommodations were adequate but the owner's blatant dishonesty is a huge turnoff. I would NOT recommend anyone else stay here. If you do, be prepared to pay extra when you try to leave.

Despite coming to an agreed upon price through Airbnb, Patricio, the owner, extorted another $120 after claiming we had not paid the full price for what was one of the most uncomfortable rooms I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. He used our lack of experience of the area and our distance from the main parts of Quito to essentially hold us hostage without payment. He refuses to change the way his listing appears on Airbnb and will likely continue to extort travelers. Save yourself the trouble and do whatever you can to avoid this tourist trap. Quito itself is amazing and most of the people, except a particular hotel owner, are some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever encountered while traveling.
