The park is nice, although it is not well maintained. There are abandoned buildings that must be avoided. You will be able to see monkeys, birds and if you are lucky enough, a friendly Tapir. Avoid going alone or staying at the park when it gets dark. Locals mentioned some robery. However, I didn't experience it first-hand

I did my thesis research here. It's a beautiful park in Tena where you can see some cool animals. They also have a high tower from where you have a great view. I absolutely loved this place.

If you want to have the feeling that you're in a jungle, just try to take one of the routes off the path. There you'll see the monkeys jumping from one tree to another. Also you can face with a tapir out of nowhere

Like most rescue centers, the efforts and work they do are to be praised and admired especially in this environment. As for the visit, they are knowledgeable and it is interesting but it seems like I never have enough time to observe the animals. Very personal comment

Great visit,, volunteer work at it's best, people who care and do whatever is needed to better animal rights, founded by tourism and good will. Highly caring and knowledgeable people who take the time to tell each animal story

It's an interesting place for a family day. The new tower offers an amazing view of the city.

Lovely walk through jungle like park. The leaf cutter ants and tamarind monkey were highlights. But they haven't finished the walkways and it feels abandoned.

It has potential, but it seems that it's not being fully used

A little piece of the amazon in the city. There is a nice trail along the river at the end of the connecting bridge that is also nice.
