One of the top rated restaurants in Cuenca. It almost made 4 stars. The food is Colombian so it's pretty plain and straight forward. The high point was the excellent salsa.

Really good food and service! My whole family was super happy to eat here and look forward to returning. The juice was the best we have had yet in Ecuador.

Fast, delicious, and affordable Colombian food served by kind people. This place is really busy, for a reason. The run out of some dishes, so come in early for lunch if you want the full selection. The Colombia themed decorations are a nice touch, and this place was more nicely decorated than any place we ate in actual Colombia, when we were there for 3+ months. We will definitely be going back next time we are in Cuenca. Hit the bell on the way out if you had a good meal. Fun place.

At evening time, merienda or one of four house specialties are available, plus a-la-carte side orders. A side salad is a few dollars ($3 during Jan 2017) and comprises a large serving of avocado and fresh vegetables; with a merienda that makes for a very substantial 1-person dinner. The bandeja paisa specialty (colombian comida tipica), which is $7.50, is richer in animal protein (more meat) than the merienda and more than I could finish. All food is very tasty. The venue is small, but well kept and clean. Great value.

Tasty home made style Colombian food. Friendly proprietors. And reasonable prices. Don't forget to ring the bell if you liked your food.
