Such a beautiful place. Nice beach
walking through the malecon is nice, you can see the sea, boats, you will always find restaurants and places to stay, it is a modern city, in high season there are many people traveling, if you like to observe the sea from the city this is the place
It's a great place to walk up and down the strip. Lots of people, stores and restaurants.
The only unfortunate thin is that if you don't speak like the locals they'll hike up the price of anyrhing. Learn your Spanish properly and you might be on the clear.
Nice scenery and friendly people.
Good atmosphere. Good restaurants. A bit dirty and smelly.
Awesome place to hang out, you can find whatever you want here
The town is paying more attention to cleanliness and organization. This place is still a diamond in the rough
Many activities to do there. Clean beach and warm water (January to may) lots of restaurants and nice local people.
Great walk along the beach with a long stretch of bars, restaurants, and hotels facing the ocean. Good clean beach with clear water!
Grate place to enjoy the atmosphere, to breed pure air, the walking along the malecon and must of all swimming.
Love Salinas. Es lo mejor.
I do like the malecon, however walking along the beach side is not to bad, walking along the shops, restaurants and hotels is a nightmare, you have to be so careful, due to the very bad construction of the pavements. There are metal bars sticking up, holes, and so many different levels, it is safer to walk in the road and brave the traffic. The pier is a nice addition and at night looks nice with all the lights. I've thing I can not get over seeing men urinating in public and the smell, no action is taken by the police, for some reason a favorite place for the men to relieve themselves is by the bank of Guayaquil. There are as far as I know only on set of bathrooms on the malecon and they are by the Barcelo hotel. If the city would invest in more bathrooms that would improve the unsanitary sights of seeing men urinate in public. Other than that a safe place to walking try to enjoy the views.
Beautiful place. Like to be there. best in weekends
Center of the tourist area. Nice beach, pier and boardwalk. Well traveled even at night.
It is very nicea lot of variety of places to eat and stay. The beach is within minutes of walking.
A wide range of shops and eateries aimed at the tourist, intermingled with high rise apartments along the beach front
OK if you enjoy relaxing on a beach all day.
Exelent beach for young kids, no waves feels like a lake.
Safe, interesting, you have differents options in your vacation or spare time.
It's kinda nice when there is not too much people around. However it needs improvements such as free Wi-Fi coverage, restrooms for tourists, lockers and of course a broader beach walk, with a separate way for rollerblading, bikes and skaters.
It's been the same for years and local government does not seem to have any idea on how to improve this zone with so.much potential due to the bars and Salinas being such a popular tourist destination.
They have a nice pier for taking boats for sea tours and related activities.
Decent board walk. Good restaurants/eating options. But I wasn't really blown away. Definitely an up and coming area though.
Great beach! And many things to do! La banana, motos acuáticas, cervezas.
Great beach. Tasty food. Nice sightseeing. Perfect nightlife.
