They offer a different way of hosteling. It's like a house with someone who help you 24/7. They give you the keys of the front door and your room and that's your house for the time you stay. They don't offer breakfast and for short stays, they won't clean your bathroom or give you new towels. However the price is good and beds are clean.

Quality is not accidental. It is the dedicated execution of a vision. In this case Andreas is 'The Man'. Life is not faultless and during our stay life happened. Everything was rectified promptly. The environment is charming and tranquil (though the street can be hectic). I highly recommend this place.

They gave us no soap. The next morning, as we were leaving, I mentioned this in a very cordial manner, not complaining, just giving feedback. The daughter replied, in a very snooty manner, that this was our fault, because we should have rung the doorbell next door and asked for soap if we wanted it. I said I thought that (and her attitude) was ridiculous, and the son-in-law ordered me to leave immediately. (Well, we were already leaving.) He wanted to fight with me in the street! Then they invented an extra charge to remove our car from the garage (we had paid in full the night before, for two rooms) so I called the police (911) and they let us out, but continued to be insulting. Quite an unpleasant experience!

Outstanding value, good people, very friendly and helpful, clean rooms, best breakfast. Highly recommended, best place to stay in Cuenca. This is my home away from home.
