Very nice and cheap hostel, located at a perfect location. The swimming pool is small but looked nice and the rooms are fine!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We had a good price with breakfast included, which was pretty good (they have 3 different options). They have a small pool, but we didn’t end up going swimming. The staff has been very friendly and we booked a tour to Isla de Plata with them and were happy with it. It’s a great location in the center of town and very close to the beach. The room accommodations are decent. The public space is cuter and more appealing and playing nice music. We would definitely stay here again.

Booked the premium room for 3 nights. The first 2 nights were ok. The specified swimming pool is 4 by 1 meter and therefor not really used in my presence. Had to push for new towels every day as they don’t clean the rooms daily
From27 september 2017 the owner opened a new club to bring in additional revenue. The club is next to my premium room. The music was very loud from the beginning, fro Milley Vanilly (duh) to modern house later.
When I asked at 22:00 if the music could be put down, they told me I could leave if I didn’t like. It. There was just a small group in the place.
If you like the place, check the music policy befor making a reservation with the owner.
If you like a quiet night, book a different place and come for the party when it suits you. A hotel should be more considerent with their paying guests. Hence 1 star based on this bizar experienceresponse / report this review -

Supercool decorations! Very helpful, friendly staff and cool welcome gift! Good breakfast. Nice rooms, although a lot of musquitos so be warned! Only thing: no lockers.

Comfortable beds. Large shower with hot water. Decent American or Ecuadorian breakfast. Even tiny pool to cool off or rinse off. Polite and attentive staff. Decent rate $.

Excelente estadía en Piedra del Mar, el hotel es bien tranquilo, es manejado por sus dueños y estos son muy amables y cálidos.
Los desayunos ofrecidos en el precio son muy buenos y la atención también.
